Funkiss is a funk/nu-jazz collective based in Petrozavodsk, north-western Russia.
Orienting on different trends of jazz, funk and soul just like any other band Funkiss combine different genres and experiment with sounding.

Funkiss is:

Jakov Bardus - guitar & background vocals; Alexandr Fartushny - saxophone, ewi and electronics; Stepan Borodulin - drums; Igor Bardus - bass; Alexandr Velikoselsky - vocals & keyboards.

On the “Supernova EP” record they tried to blend jazz harmonies, very special warm and fragile feeling with some sad, sentimental notes, good arrangements and some groove.
