Formed at a Velvet Revolver gig in London in 2005 (the name gave birth to the band), the Shovel recorded their first demo – the Wake Up Or Die EP – which was play-listed and saw the band interviewed on UK’s Total Rock Radio.
Fuckshovel have gigged throughout the UK - from London gigs at venues such as the Underworld and the Borderline and motorway trips to such exotic locations as Guisborough, Trefforest and Burnley!
The video for their first single - Long Time Dead - was included in the Best of 2007 on MTV’s Headbangers Ball in the UK, Europe and South Africa.
Their debut album, ‘This Is What We Are’ is due for release in 2009, with producer Rohan Onraet (credits with Slipknot/Machine Head) twiddling the knobs.
