I can't believe Sonny Moore was only 18 years old when this post-hardcore masterpiece was released. Really amazing vocals... But sorry, Skrillex sucks as hell.

8 years later and this is still better than half the stuff getting released these days. Excited for their new EP.

Save Me is definitely the hardest and heaviest track on this album. When it comes to genre, this is truly the most diverse from all FFTL's albums. It's my favorite! ♥

Even after all these years I still can't even explain how much I love this album. It is just amazing.

Never thought I'd tag a post-hardcore album as industrial rock, but listening to this again for the first time in awhile really helped me notice the influence of industrial on this album. It's like if you mixed the Used (for the post-hardcore basis), Motionless In White (in the metalcore with electronic leanings of a few of the first few tracks of this album), and a bit of Killing Joke (or other early industrial rock). It definitely would have been interesting to hear them continue more in this direction. I like the last release before the hiatus, but some of the "soundscapes" of this could have really added to that album.
