Biography

Portland, United States (1997 – 2005, 2009 – present)

From Ashes Rise is a modern hardcore punk band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 1997. They then relocated to Portland, Oregon. Their last album was released on Jade Tree. The band split up in fall 2005 after doing a tour with the legendary UK band Subhumans.

Line-up

* Brad Boatright - Guitar, vocals, also of The Cooters
* Billy Davis - Bass and vocals, also of Tragedy
* David Atchison - Drums
* John Wilkerson - Guitar, vocals

On October 12, 2009 a reunion show at the Satyricon in Portland, OR for February 21, 2010 was announced via the band’s MySpace blog. A limited number of shows have since been performed.

    Oh c'mon german people,you're already the luckiest country in europe (along with england) when is about gigs,we all (people from other european countries into underground music) envy you for this..every time a good band does an european tour there are at least 2 or 3 dates in germany and we all can just hope to have one (luckily here in italy the situation got way better during the last 5/6 years,but still not comparable at yours)..so don't act like assholes,please ;) Hey F.A.R...let's do this damn european tour includin all the countries (so italy as well,or portugal,basque country,estern countries..) or at least most of them and not only the usual few ones!
