The Dallas, Texas guitar playing, laptop weirdo Daniel Huffman has played with a handful of bands (Comet, Polyphonic Spree, Pile of Severed Hands) and participates in Laptop Deathmatches in the Dallas and Austin areas.

The name “Frogboy” comes from a childhood fondness for frogs and it was coincidentally a temporary nickname given to him by Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips when Daniel was once wearing a furry frog outfit that was too small while “roadying” with the Lips.

His guitar playing style is influenced by the fact that he has a synthetic Titanium alloy pin in his elbow (from a skateboarding accident) that from time to time transfers uncontrollable muscle pulses down into his hand.
