Frisia, aka Doug Taylor, creates a melodic blend of electronic instruments with guitar and Native American flute. Sometimes atmospheric and other times dramatic instrumental music.

“Many of the Ambient soundscapes are comparable to the classic Fax “Silence” series by Pete Namlook and Dr. Atmo; save the length of Namlook’s compositions ( that oft times exceed 20 minutes), and these creations would certainly be pleasing to fans of these two artists. It does sound as though you have drawn from many a great pioneer within the electro genres, yet made each track Doug Taylor’s. The cinematics likewise, are very “multi” listenable, and create some vivid mindscapes with very clean and crisp sounds within each song that you produced here. All arrangements are very open and spacious, which create a floaty element, and due to the shorter length, they do not seem overly repetitive the way many lengthier Ambient and Cinematic comps can sound. It was refreshing to hear yet another artist that sounded original in his creations. This alone makes them much more listener friendly to those who generally shy away from such genres.”
