Biography

Fredrik Olsen (born 1987) is a musician and athlete from Bodø, Norway. He has played with a vast array of Bodø bands and artists, including Silje Halstensen, Ramification, Hjertesorg and Caroline Furøyen. He currently plays the guitar and sings in Kråkesølv. Olsen’s main instrument is the electric guitar, but he is an accomplished classical player as well. With Kråkesølv, he incorporates many classical elements into his playing, relying on fingerpicking in addition to using a plectrum. Olsen prefers writing songs on an acoustic guitar.

Olsen has stepped in with Norwegian band Quiritatio on several occasions. He excels at sports, especially bowling, tennis and table tennis.

During his youth years, Olsen had a great inspiration from the hip hop genre, and showed of loads of lyric flow as main rapper in Odrik & Nice Guy Ed.
