Born 1988 as a son of two German teachers, the young guitarist Frederik Jan Braun started to make his first song in 1999.
In 2003 Freddy J. Brown released his first album, including soul and funk songs.
His first single was “The Folk is coming down” featuring the Canadian/Iranian/German ex-rapper DickDave.
In the following years there came new albums: “Cleaved”, which included the hit-single “Living in the Street” and “The Diary of Freddy J. Brown”. In 2006 there released a best-of album and now Freddy J. Brown is planning to release his fifth album “Funkacity”, a Funk/RnB and Soul album.
In his career Freddy joined two bands as a guitarist.
