Larry Lurex was the artist name used for a musical project by Trident Studios’ house engineer Robin Geoffrey Cable, in 1972. Cable enlisted singer Freddie Mercury from the band Queen to perform lead vocals on the tracks - Goin' Back and I Can Hear Music.

Freddie, in turn, enlisted Queen bandmates Brian May and Roger Taylor to play guitar and drums on the tracks.
