No You Girls is the second single from the succesful Franz Ferdinand’s album “Tonight: Franz Ferdinand”, and has been related with another version called Katherine Kiss Me, a ballad also included in their last album.

It has been produced by Dan Carey and Franz Ferdinand, and as well as the rest of the songs in the album, it includes some electro-pop sounds, colorful guitars and bass sounds, making an interesting use of their particular style by taking the instruments to a different level of rythms.

(Taken from pilulapop) For some time this song was known as “katherine kiss me”, that is actually the name of its nice sister-ballad. both are on the album, tonight: franz ferdinand, set to release on 26 january

“Its two versions of the same event, says Kapranos. One with the sort of exaggeration with which you would tell it to your friends — and the other way, which is more vulnerable.” (to rolling stone)
