    Well Dinkydexy, Paul "look at me dancing" Rutherford never was much of a "singer", so what you're stating could make sense! :-)

    Its early 1984 and one George Michael is in a certain London recording studio, busy working on the forthcoming album. One of the songs has the working title 'Black Night, White Light' but it never actually makes it onto the album...and the rough mix of the recording sessions is left just lying around. Lo and Behold, one Trevor Horn gets hold of the tape and succesfully incorporates parts of it onto the forthcoming FGTH album. To this day George Michael swears it's his voice singing that line, 'Black night, white light, the other side of midnight', and it would be a brave fool who'd claim it was either Holly Johnson or Paul Rutherford.
