Now believe me when I tell you that my song is really true
I want everyone to listen and believe
It's about some little people from a long time ago
And all the things the neighbors didn't know Early in the morning

I loved this song until I actually listened to the lyrics. Now I skip it.

Fantastic album!!! Zappa really put pop music on notice that changes were coming.

The neighbors on the right sat and watched them every night (I bet you'd do the same if they was you).

Get the album Lost Episodes and listen to Ronny and Kenny talk about how they put their boogers on a window where they lived. Hilarious! RIP, Frank. Say hey to the Captain!

I play this tune regularly on the radio. It is irreverent and yet melodic. The story behind this tune is all true, at least per Frank's writings. Love it!!!! Ob La Di, Ob La Da came out AFTER this tune. This album was Frank lambasting what he saw as the idiocy of the hippie "culture".
