Of course this picture was a sarcastic stab by Zappa at the consumer orgy we commonly know as Christmas. Why else would he appear in the very embodiment of that concept, the Coca-Cola designed image of St. Nick? But voting this picture to the top at Christmas time just feels like pissing on the man's grave. Of course, Zappa well understood (and was quoted several times as saying) that most of his listeners would never have the intellectual chops to understand the subject matter of his lyrics. The shouts here are ample evidence of that. So please for all of the people here saying "YAYYY CHRISTMASSS!!!" please go back to enjoying your hair. Keep thinking 'Call Any Vegetable' is a funny song about vegetables, keep watching tv and by all means don't try to think too hard. You might hurt yourself.
