Mack The Kinife is a boring song, musically. BUT, with a great arrangement, like this one, and a fine vocal, the listener doesn't realize the simple, repetitive melody. In fact, it's damn exciting! I saw FS perfrom the song-twice a night in Las Vegas, for a total of a hundred times and he never failed to blow away the audience with it.

I LOVE YOU UNCLE NORM! He passed away on may 29th. and I just found out yesterday. He was known as Frankie in our family. I close my eyes and I hear his voice still with a glass of wine in one hand and a pall mall in the other.
