Francesco Renga (born in Udine, June 12, 1968) is an Italian singer-songwriter. He won the Sanremo Music Festival in 2005 with the song Angelo.

He is romantically involved with actress Ambra Angiolini, who has borne him two children, Jolanda and Leonardo.

    Dopo averlo visto finalmente in concerto con tanto di orchestra più band, e dopo aver pianto, ballato, urlato, saltato, posso dire che è unico. Lui canta, rimane impigliato tra le note e ci si districa detro, lui interpreta e davanti al microfono l'esibizione è mozzafiato e autentica, la musica è la sola cosa che ha in testa, non c'è l'esibizionismo o la superbia di tanti altri artisti. Emozione allo stato puro che viene fuori mescolando lo stile rock dei Timoria (Schitarrate da paura dal vivo) e lo stile più ricercato, teorico e raffinato dell'orchestra ensemble.
