    I love this piece but prefer other arrangements that I heard other times. This is way to joyful for March Funebre, ... the cadence is way too humdrum, ... a little too sparse on pathos, ...

    FIrst time I every remember hearing this is when I was a little kid and Kennedy got killed... Still remember seeing the funeral procession marching with a horse drawn casket. Quite a different world back then...

    This piece makes me think of poor Haiti; within a year that saw a massive earthquake, a spreading cholera epidemic and recurring signs of government instability, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere is gearing up for its latest battle: presidential elections.
