Biography

Four Visions is the Brooklyn-based noise folk project of New Jersey native Daniel Abary. The project began in 2009 as a way for Abary to release his minimalist bedroom recordings of stark vocals and acoustic guitars. Soon, Abary began tinkering with software and tape collage, and by 2010 elements of , , , and had crept into Four Visions’ modus operandi. In early 2011, Four Visions went on hiatus so that Abary could shift his attention to writing and playing with Sight Seeing, who signed around that time to Bleach Blonde Records in Brooklyn. But Abary couldn’t stay away for long, and in 2012 he resurrected the project with the addition of two new touring members to help him bring Four Visions fuller, more realized sound to his live performances. Four Visions is set to release an EP late this spring.
