it's so hard (and unnecessary) to pick a favorite four tet album, but if i had to, this one would be a serious contender.

I listened to both 'Rounds' and 'Pause' before this, and had very high expectations. Im a little disappointed, its nothing on the other two.

Sleep, Eat Food, Have Vision , why does this song only have 558 listens and the rest near 50.000? How is that possible?

Personally don't see how this has more hits than Pause. Everything ecstatic just has nothing as tuneful as his earlier three. Maybe just not for me, but the beats and sounds seem less interesting. Personally really liking tracks like 'parks' or 'and they all look broken hearted' though I'd say 'and then patterns' shapes up well. I'm afraid after alot of trying I've given up with the rest of this album though

By far the best of an impressive discography. Sleep, Eat Food, Have Visions is a wonder.

I think both Rounds & Everything Ecstatic are great. Can't really pick a winner...

It's not boring, yet it ain't all that ecstatic either.

It isn't wrong to think so. However it is rather odd, considering how good Rounds is.
