Biography

Foundring is the moniker of singer-songwriter Kylan K., b. 1985 in California. Classically trained on the piano and violin, his music is also influenced by jazz and experimental rock, including bands like Sigur Rós, Radiohead, Spiritualized/Spacemen 3, The Microphones, and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and pianists like Art Tatum, Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, and Oscar Peterson. Being an accomplished pianist/keyboardist, his music is heavily synth-laden, and displays an often atmospheric quality that coexists well with his vocals, which draw from Thom Yorke, Jeff Buckley, Conor Oberst, and Jónsi Birgisson of Sigur Rós.

Hiya :) I added them to the album "Videodrome"--they're tracks 14 and 15. The rest of that album are the audio for some of my other videos, check them out too if you like. The Mario Medley I made last year is on that album as well. Enjoy!

thanks :) I've been planning on covering this song for ages, but I never envisioned making it sound the way I did--I don't know if this will change your interpretation, but I actually made it in one sitting just a couple days after I almost died in a car accident in july...one of those I appreciate the beauty and fickleness of life moments. again, I'm really glad you like it...

I love Rue des Cascades by Yann Tiersen and your interpretation of it is ... eh ... well-done! I like it.
