There are at least three acts called Forme:

1) Richard File (aka: Forme) is also known as DJ Aura and Neon One who has previously worked with the Mo’ Wax record label and remixed many big artists such as Queens Of The Stone Age, DJ Shadow and Depeche Mode, amongst others. Richard has also provided vocals on the UNKLE album War Stories with James Lavelle who he has recently departed from to start his own band called We Fell To Earth.

As well as having the unenviable job of filling DJ Shadow’s shoes in the UNKLE setup, Rich File also records as Forme for Marine Parade. With his distinctive raw tribal sound he has already established himself as one of the most talented and unique producers in breakbeat today. Kick a Hole and Percussive Thinking have been among the most popular releases of the Marine Parade record label.

2) A Canadian Instrumental that released an EP entitled “Neotany” in 2010.
Forme began in summer 2002 as an acoustic project between guitarist Tom Daigle and guitarist Andy Kerr. Their sound was to be sculpted against the stream, constantly redefining their limits, and pushing for the evolution of modern music. It was quickly decided a further lineup would be needed to fully express what they were creating.

The quartet was completed by Summer 2004 as bassist Tony Zavaglia and drummer Noah Hassan joined, bringing their innovative musicianship to the instrumental project and raising the creative bar even higher.
