Biography

The debut release from the fab five in Forgotten Lores; “Týndi Hlekkurinn”(The Missing Link) is with out a doubt one of the most interesting albums of 2003, acclaimed by critics and fans alike and their reputaition as powerfull and entertaining live performers has been on the rise after a series of shows following the release of their record. All material is written and recorded by themselves and since they began working together about five years ago strong rep and fanbase has been growing steadily. Currently in the works are a new full-lenght album as well as several solo- and sideprojects expected to drop late this year or early the next, including a compilation mix-CD featuring all-icelandic music by DJ B-Ruff (currently the TFA turntablist champion), an EP named 7 9 13 from Byrkir and Intro ( former TFA turntablist champ) and two EP´s from Class B, one in English, the other in his native icelandic.

Last Airwaves festival was the birthground for FL´s live set, under the leadership of drummer DJ Magic (who as the name suggests is one of Iceland´s most prominent DJ´s) the group struck a chord with both fans and media. As a result the group was invited to perform in Washinton DC at the end of last year. One of the Airwaves festival´s organisers, Árni E. Birgisson mentioned four groups that specifically called attention to themselves, Forgotten Lores being one of them; “FL´s performance was a great surprise since the group hasn´t been in the spotlight much up to now.”
