Biography
There are 2 bands called Foreign Objects:
1) Foreign Objects is a Progressive/Technical Death Metal band from West Chester, PA.
2) Foreign Objects is a female fronted punk band from Massachusetts.
Biographies are listed below:
1) Foreign Objects was started by Deron Miller and Jess Margera in 1995. Deron met Jess in a math class at East HIgh School in Pennsylvania in 1993. They quickly became friends by sharing the same sense of humor, and later on Deron found out Jess played drums. Deron would write material with Jess for the album they would later release titled “The Undiscovered Numbers & Colors”. When they had most of the material written they entered a studio in Malvern Pennsylvania during the summer of 1995 and recorded the album consisting of five songs: The Undiscovered Numbers & Colors, Far Cry Behind, The Other side of the End of the Univers, a piano interlude titled Delve and Destination Undefined. Around 1996 Deron and Jess started writting and recording more material for Foreign Objects with John Teague, who had set up a recording studio in his house. They recorded 10 instrumentals, three of the songs are on CKY’s “Volume 2”. The songs being Foreign Objects #10 (later renamed Universal Culture Shock) Testing (later renamed Test it Out) and Planetary. Then something happened, and Foreign Objects disbanded and shortly reformed as Oil, but a completely different band emerged. Oil was not death metal, but rock (also with Deron and Jess) Then they made Oil less “mainstream”, and formed CKY and met Chad Ginsburg. Many years later, as CKY grew, fans started to find out more about the history of the band pre-CKY and interest in Foreign Objects grew.
