Someone else mentioned it, but this album triggers some extremely strong nostalgia for the SNES/Sega Genesis generation of console gaming. I listen to this, and it's like I'm a child playing Pilotwings and Paperboy.

Nothing beats melancholic synth vibes in a pop song

"Channel Pressure asks some complex questions about pop's obsession with nostalgia." Everything about Daniel Lopatin is proto-vaporwave. Suddenly for apparently no reason I got back to Channel Pressure and can't stop listen to it. Paradoxical, addictive, an uncommon gem.

This is quality stuff, if a bit too sugary sweet at times. Half the time I feel like doing somersaults of joy, but sometimes I feel kind of sick

I think this music triggers repressed memories, because every time I listen to it I get a strange and uneasy feeling, as well as an urge to play Kid Chameleon on the Sega Genesis.
