Biography

Another noise occult project from Hospital Productions.

Force Publique Congo delivers a more industrial facet to the game. A blistered mixture of brutalised distortion that cut through the ice-bath static and hoarse screams giving the political message an almost Muslimgauze-like resonance. Reviving the horror and discomfort endured by The Democratic Republic of The Congo at the hands of Belgian colonisers and the civil war they continued to stoke in order for multinational corporations to take control of their abundant resources.

I would highly recommend "King Leopold's Ghost" to anyone interested in the themes being covered by this project. Maybe the best non-fiction book I've read in the past few years. Glad to see that this project seems to have some longevity.

Population Loss In The Rubber-Rich Equatorial Colonies is unbelievably good.

Well, not preposterously so... but expensive, yes. They're not reaching the level of the Alberich "NATO Uniformen" tapes yet.

I'm so excited about this project. The Zandeland tape is unbelievable and I still have the FFH split and Civil War tapes to listen to. I really want to try to hunt down everything but I have the feeling it will be preposterously expensive.

I didn't even see the Prurient tape up, it must have sold out instantly.
