Fool’s Garden is a German pop group formed in 1991, comprising singer Peter Freudenthaler, guitarist Volker Hinkel, bassist Thomas Mangold, keyboardist Roland Röhl, and drummer Ralf Wochele.
Their first album, Once In A Blue Moon was released in 1993, followed two years later by Dish Of The Day, from which “Lemon Tree” became an Asian chart hit. Go and Ask Peggy for the Principal Thing followed in 1997, then For Sale (2000), 25 Miles to Kissimmee (2003), and Ready for the Real Life (2005).
In 2003 the band changed three of its members: Roland Röhl, Thomas Mangold, and Ralf Wochele left, to be replaced by bassist Dirk Blümlein, drummer Claus Müller, and a second guitarist, Gabriel Holz. Holz left the band in 2007 after moving to Berlin.
In 2006, Fool’s Garden released the single “I Got a Ticket,” regarding on the World Cup Soccer competition that was held in Germany.
The band is recording new tracks for the release of a new album in 2008.

Musical differences, some people might like the uber pop sound of Lemon Tree, while others enjoy the songs that are harder, and some people like the heavily beatles inspired songs. I personally like the softer ballads along with the harder songs, but there isn't one FG song I can turn on and not sing along with and love. I don't grow tired of music, if the music is good^^

And those "statistics", I guess they're based on Last FM, but the thing is that most of the FG listeners on Last FM, have only heard Lemon Tree and perhaps a few other songs :P

I'm sorry to be the snuffer for all you fans out there. Of course this band has something else to offer than only "Lemon Tree" and of course people have to listen to these other songs before judging the band or say that "Lemon Tree" is the best song ever. BUT there is a reason why "Lemon Tree is so much more popular than the other songs, and the reason is not only that people only know that single song. You have to face it! Lemon Tree is their best song and this is said from a person who have listened a lot to their other songs. Sorry. ;-)
