20 Aug 2007, 08:49 by haylemJust felt like posting the playlist used for the latest grill-night at home, thought it could be fun in a few years, as I won't be able to deny to my kids or grand-kids (if I ever have such "things") that I used to listen to bands like X, Y or Z and how old school I would seem to them.
(playlist was in shuffle mode)

3 Nov 2006, 19:44 by JebJoyaI really wanted to put something on here about the new Foo Fighters live album "Skin and Bones" - recorded from one of their Acoustic gigs in the States.
Having been to the first of the Foo Fighters acoustic gigs, in Ipswich, UK, I was massively excited to find out that they were releasing a live album (recorded over 3 gigs in LA) - that gig was one of the best I've ever been to (closely contended by Alabama 3 at the Warwick University SU). When I was able to get hold of a copy (through one of my friends reviewing for the Student Paper), I jumped at it!
The album starts with cheering, and it took me immediately back to the 5 minute (literally) standing ovation that Dave Grohl got when he came on stage (looking quite embarrased it has to be said!). It opens with Razor, building up to a massive crecendo at the end, massively reminicent of the finale of The Who's Baba O'Riley - an amazing aural spectacle.
Over and Out is track 2…
