Biography

Fluter aka Decado, real name is Ilya Stepanischev was born on the 1th of May in 1984 in Vitebsk (Belarus). At the age of 5 he got fond of music and this was the beginning of his further musical career. Later on he acquired such professions as an artist of an orchestra (flute), conductor of orchestra, teacher. In 2004 Ilya moves to St.Petersburg, where he proceeds his education in specialty of sound engineering. Since 2004 he is cooperating with Dissident (St. Petersburg, producer) and participating in live-project Phantom Orchestra. Then in 2005 the duet of Fluter and Dissident is formed completely. During his live co-performances with Dissident Fluter plays on the flute and keyboard. Their music contains leftfield-like drumfunk, atmospheric drum & bass, IDM plus some cinematic elements. In 2006 they began an active club tour and creating of label Opposide Records (sub-label of Respect Records). Fluter is also known as Decado, under this name Ilya produces deep & minimal tech music.

Dissident is the production name of Russian based Stanislav Sevostyanikhin. Residing in St.Petersburg at the Baltic sea shore, he spends most of his time slicing beats, synthesizing sounds and creating trends in modern music culture. He is influenced by very different kinds of music that allowed him to produce such diverse and truly innovative tunes. Although his forte is primarily drum&bass, Stan has never restricted his music to one particular style or genre. Stan started to produce electronic music in early 1998. After getting some experience he created his first drum&bass project called Dissonance (featuring his mates Aspekt, Nec and MC Akim).
