Find it kinda strange that my hometown shares its name with such a great band. I must say, the band is MUCH better than the town.

tight tight tight. cool, calm, collected, and catastrophic. that is flin flon. saw them open for sleater-kinney somewhere in new york, and i went on a boat afterwards where there was a party, the boat was called the frying pan. strange memory.

I've loved 'A-OK' since its release...an epochal album in the binaryboy canon. I remember the first time I ever mustered the courage to visit Zulu Records in Vancouver, Flin Flon were playing. Made me feel right at home.
