Listening to the album "Boston" released in 2013, a repackage of three nights of live performances at the 'Boston Tea Party' on February 5-7, 1970. Features the original Mac of Peter, Jeremy, Mick, John, Danny. Recorded just three months before Peter was voted out of the band for demanding that the band members go on salary and give the excess profits to charity (suffering mental illness brought on by his bingeing on LSD). This album is 31/2 hrs of the best live music around. For serious Green Era Mac fans only.

Thankfully, the first Fleetwood Mac song I ever heard, aged about 5 in the 1990s. I was so confused when I eventually heard the New Fleetwood Mac a few years later, although I like a lot of those newer singles now. People on here are right, I found this song scary, and totally bad ass. It made me want to play guitar, so I did.

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! Writing the song scared Green so much he couldn't cover Robert Johnson's 'Hellhound on my trail' afterwards. Check this, the live version murders: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJHKzKyLxqE

This is the proper Fleetwood Mac, not the wishy washy FM2 with Nicks and Buckingham.

This came out when I was about 13, and I had never heard anything so disturbing before, but I totally loved it and still do. When you are an impressionable kid, music like this, Voodoo Chile and Paint it Black are genuinely scary! Peter Green had something very special

If this is from 1969, I'd have to agree it sounds way ahead of it's time.
