Their best album by far. Oh Well and Madge duo are among the best musics of hard/blues rock in the late 60' n early 70'

I like where Fleetwood Mac went after this (especially Bare Trees and Tusk), but it's still a shame the Green/Kirwan combo couldn't have lasted longer. This is an incredible album.

Ooops, I combined my Savoy Brown posting with the Fleetwood mac posting. Obviously, Street Corner Talking and Jack the Toad are Savoy Brown LPs. :)

I grew up on this album, among others. I rate it as highly influential on my rock and roll life. If I'd grown up listening to the Beatles instead, who knows where I would have ended up. This album is powerful, sublime, soulful, atmospheric, you name it. It's one of, if not the, best album Fleetwood Mac ever made. My favorites also include Peter' Green's Fleetwood Mac, Street Corner Talking and Jack the Toad. The Peter Green - Jeremy Spencer and the Christine Perfect/McVie - Danny Kirwin versions of the band remain my all time favorites.

Love this album. Great blues, humor, and introspective music. When I think of Fleetwood Mac this is the music that comes to mind. A few later albums have songs with this flavor in them, but nothing like this. A must have for blues enthusiasts.

To finish the prevoius shout: The Danny Kirwan songs on that album (Bare Trees) breathe out the same atmosphere as the songs he wrote for this album. (Coming Your Way, My Dream, Although the Sun Is Shining, When You Say & Like Crying)

By that time Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer had left the band and were replaced by Bob Welch and Christine McVie. The Danny Kirwan songs on that album bre
