Flahaut unites hiphop and popmusic. Both styles are taken back to it’s basics. Add some drama, some cool dutch lyrics, some B-films, some beer, some silly gimmicks and you’ve got the Flahaut sound.
Flahaut started in Belgium on an anti-fascist demo where mc pvc, a famous cult-writer and superb grindcore-bassplayer, talked to breakyourstyle (guitarist in a well known grindcoreband and member of a brilliant breakcore-project) what it would be like to make hiphop. Both have very different opinions on what hiphop should sound like.
FLAHAUT is known in Belgium for making “virtual” cd’s. “virtual cd’s” are only downloadable from the internet. For free. They can not be bought in shops.
