Brutally heavy, Dark and forboding with the ability to switch time, pace, genre and style at the drop of a hat; Adam, Cam, Mark and Marc take great pleasure in constantly challenging themselves while at the same time serving up a dish of fresh new and always evolving ideas to their unsuspecting but ever growing fan base.

Only 2 years old now,Five Star have release their debut album “The Complete First Season” through Faultline records to much critical acclaim ensuring plenty of travelling to most of our nations capital cities. Having already supported such bands as Arch Enemy, Danzig, Bloodduster, Spiderbait, Walk the Earth, Daysend, Shallow Grave, Terrorust, Fuck… I’m Dead, Alarum, Minus Life, Karnivool, Flesh Mechanic, Lynchmada and many more Five Star are on their way to securing a solid hold in the Metal scene with the determination, passion and drive to stay there for a very long time. Look out for their Second album “Slaves of Virgo” due out in Feb 2007.

Like an inexperienced left hand hopelessly fondling at the musical clitoris and with a commercial indifference, Five Star Prison Cell are the masters of a fresh and non-conformist formula to the way music is written.
