The name isn't intended to be disrespectful. In short it's a statement on the mistakes made by both sides in that historical incident, and definitely calls attention to the idea that beyond politics and religion, the fact remain that many lives were lost in Waco, and for what? That is what is most important to remember. There is definitely more to it than that - there has to be with a name like 'Fires Of Waco' - and the ideas extend beyond just that one incident... but if you reacted to it - positively or negatively, that's kind of the point. Please don't jump to conclusions about our intentions though. Discussion is extremely important in punk and hardcore. And yes, there is more than one Reach Out. This one was from Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Cool down, it's just a band name no one is trying to be disrespectful and there is more than one Reach Out, check that out before you mouth off.

Several things: Firstly, your name is HIGHLY disrespectful to the children, women and men who perished at the Branch Davidian compound outside Waco, at the hands of the murderous ATF and FBI agencies. Secondly, former members of Reach Out? Yeah, I call rubbish. Unless some of you were playing gigs at Gilman Street in 1992 with Honeywell. NOT. LIKELY. Dropkicks of the highest order.
