    @clenchedteeth: I know most of Mendelssohn's works and there's none that have anything resembling Hawaiian names. Looking at your charts, it looks like there's a British musician with the same name who wrote Hawaiian music.     i listen to a lot of hawaiian music and some of it scrobbles at felix mendelssohn based on song names. can someone explain the relevance? was it that felix transcribed traditional hawaiian music (which i've heard of other europeans in hawaii)?
