It turned broke what was right
It got the roots by the hair

Mastodon's cover is pretty cool, but you can't beat the original :)

Sounds like: "BARBARA BUSH!" Well, only in the context of Borat. Kinda.

Very Kate Bush-y. And that's awesome.

If there's no shouting, there's no commotion. The song is called "A Commotion," for goodness sake! @bleepmeister: absolutely.

@ClownDisco I liked the dissonant bugle in Pj Harvey's A Glorious Land too! And the yelling in A Commotion is wonderful.

Is there a sample from Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians in this song?

COCOMOSHN! [2] absolutely. I'm starting to enjoy the "shouting". I think something would be missing without it.

I did a wav rip and removed the shouting. In one sentence, the reason why digitised music is such a bad thing.

People who disklike the shouting in "A Commotion" are most likely the ones who dislike the bugle in PJ Harvey's "The Glorious Land". I loved both from the start for these exact qualities!

OGTL: that's a bit extreme, the yelling contrasts well with her soft vocals

I did a WAV rip of this song and edited out the shouting. I can finally enjoy it!
