Biography

Jamil Fearrington was born the 20th of April in 1986. With his mother being Danish and an American father Fearrington grew up fluent in both languages and this later got adopted to his musical career. Back to the parents – because Fearrington didn’t get his musical skills from just anybody. His father Norman Fearrington is a well respected drummer throughout the world and has in the past joined forces with such superstars as Tina Turner, Santana, Billy Paul, David Bowie, Ray Charles and even a hit record with Danish sensation Anne Linnet Band. Growing up in a house with gold records hanging on the wall inspired Fearrington to follow in his fathers footsteps – but in a different way. With his favorite rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on his mind, Fearrington began writing rhymes and lyrics at the age of 12. After a couple of years practice he received a microphone from his parents and Fearrington began writing songs for all his friends to hear. At this point all his material was in English though. He began dreaming about making albums and stardom but all this was put on hold because he had to nurture his promising football career which at this point has landed him a spot in Denmark’s top club FC Copenhagen and several youth national team appearances. In the year 2007 things changed… 21 year-old Fearrington was discovered by owner of Loyalty Management, Kenno, and quickly began working on a project that will ultimately result in the release of Fearrington’s debut album. On this album Fearrington will be rapping in Danish for the first time and the first few tracks are really promising.
