this band’s name is one word… FATALFEAR and they are from South Korea and it would seem even formed prior to the alternate band.
Both labelled as melodic death metal and deathcore. FatalFear has fast become one of the upcoming names in the korean metal circuit, with regular spots around the country and last year’s spot as Arch Enemy’s ONLY support…FatalFear are a band to keep an eye on.
They are “Korean Metal with British Vocals” - FatalFear
Rising from the beach town of Busan in the South of Korea, FatalFear ruptured onto the Korean-metal scene almost ten years ago as part of the Busan 24 Crew and after several line up changes released their debut EP in 2006, Fatal Fear - To kill a witch.
They are the hosts of the ongoing/regular “24-hours of Bullshit Fest” for extreme and metal music, as well as the more recent “Youth Anthem” fest with a more mixed line-up). The founding member is Jin-Su, the head honcho of the 24Crew and Realize Records along with vocalist Ed (…and soon to come, a veteran, “world toured” professional sound engeneer Kirk Martin from Canada…also the new Drummer to FatalFear
Since 2007/8 the band took on Ed, a British metal “veteran”, for vocal duties. Then in 2009, the band released their latest EP, Apocalyptic Crusade.

Ahh...we're in sthe studio again, we changed our drummer last year and now we have a new bass player so we will remake our newsongs for recording...its been too long, but SOON.,..soon, it will be done!

Playing with FatalFear has given me a new exciting and challenging experience so far. I am really happy that the guys asked me to join the band. And apart of the ever growing brotherhood. Like Ed said the next few weeks are going to really busy ones. And the new tracks are sick. I know you folks are going to love them.

We will have a LOT of new songs coming...it has been great to get Kirk in the band, although we need to re record everything. It has been FANTASTIC to be out touring and gigging korea again, i look forward to opportunities to play elsewhere..As for the new music, give us about 8 weeks(..busy times for us, the label and life-we are opening a new studio/nightclub in Busan-as well as hosting the bullshit fests on a new regular night in the Haeundae beach area) and..both musically and otherwise theres been a lot of growth..I can definately say the sound is continuing to evolve...its heavy and melodic with a lack of the singyness..although, as a fear factory fan, i may do somethign if the track calls for it..still, its not looking likely...anyway...i am very excited! I cant wait to record vocals. Take care and remember..........you heard it here!

Hey people, if you want to help us out...download the free tracks from Apocalyptic Crusade (E.P.) 2009 and add them to your itunes/mediaplayer/ipod etc and download the lastfm application to scrobble the plays you generate..it would really help us out! p.s...if you like them, send us a message or leave a shout here...we may put the whole EP up for free...and more perhaps!
