2 Aug 2009, 05:02 by dx_xbOh hello, I'm doing a listen-along review of The Satanic Satanist by Portugal. The Man. I used to like Portugal. The Man quite a bit. In fact, stables and chairs was in my top played songs list for a while.
God this song sounds familiar. Ah, it sounds like Out of My Head by Fastball
1:30 Kinda boring typical feel good song, imo.
Damn the drums are so simplistic and distracting.
2:24 Urge to skip rising. Just a few more seconds though.
I made it through! Ah, this song is a big improvement over the other two.
49 secs in - Sort of a disco sound.
1:47 I want to do the hustle and wear bell-bottoms.
2:15 it's like the Bee Gees singing over Coldplay's Trouble.
A lively organ melody starts this off.
42 secs in - Sorta reminds me of a toned-down, more mainstream Man Man.
1:45 Sing-along part "Knooow/Noooo I was fine before, fine before"
2:27 This is another boring sounding track. It started out so promising too, with the living alone in the woods.

(December 31, 2008)
Q: Hello Fools & Horses, how are you today?
A: We are doing very well thanks! Looking forward to the New Year's show tonight.
Q: First of all, could you introduce yourselves?
A: We've got Matt here on vocals and guitar, Tim behind me (he's my little brother) on drums and occasional vocal, next is Steve (come say hi steve) on guitar and vocals, and finally Kent who is on bass and vocal.
Q: Fools & Horses, that's an interesting band name. What is the meaning behind the name and how did you come up with it?
A: It comes from two places. There’s an old saying: Only Fools & Horses work. And there is a British sitcom called Only Fools & Horses, which got its name from the saying. We were hurting for a name prior to our first show and came across some tapes of the show. …
