Fast Orange was a three piece alternative, rock, metal band from Leicestershire, United Kingdom, during the mid 90’s. Their name was inspired by the biodegradable, petroleum solvent-free hand cleaner, often associated with car macahnics; of course… The band would be seen live in and around the Midlands until they split in 1997. Fast Orange were Matthew Day on guitar and vocals (formerly founder/front man of scum pups fame, Seth Shell on bass and Jim Robinson on drums.
After the band’s break up in 1997, Matthew moved on to join forces with Kevin Tucker to form Smartarse
