Biography

Family Bible Reading Fellowship” is a program that airs Monday through Friday over all Family Radio’s stations. It consists of Old Testament readings by Hendric Van Dyke et al. of the Modern King James Bible (OT by Jay P. Green) and the Authorized 1611 King James Version (NT)

Back in the 70s, Dr. Hendric Van Dyke read most of the Bible and it took him a long time to do all that he accomplished.

But due to some personal circumstances in his life, he had to leave the employ of Family Radio and move up to Cannon Beach, Oregon and while in Cannon Beach he continued do some additional Bible reading for Family Radio; But a number of years later he passed away.

And when he died, there were still many chapters and whole books that were never recorded for broadcast. Thus there was much of the Bible never read over the air.

Recently (that is, in the middle of 2005) it was decided that FR really needed to be reading all of the Bible and several employees of Family Radio took on the challenge and began reading chapters that Hendric Van Dyke for one reason or another had not read. Even though Craig Hulsebos is legally blind, he even took on the challenge to read a few chapters here and there.

But it took several months for several people on staff to complete this task while they kept up with their regular assignments

Genesis 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savor; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Genesis 8:17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

Genesis 8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

Genesis 8:11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

Genesis 8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
