Biography

There are several artists going by the name Falter;

1.Falter are an alternative metal band from Blackburn. With influences taken from a vast amount of artists and genres, they blend a mix of hard rock, metal and grunge to create a raw and visceral sound that they can undoubtedly call their own. Falter are indisputably crowd pleasers, as their live performances have been described as fierce, thrilling and an adrenaline rush of honest intensity that other local bands seem to lack. From forming in December ‘10, they have released a 3 track EP and continue to push themselves harder and further into the music scene.

2. FALTER is one of the many projects of Martin Juhls from Dortmund/Germany. While he is exploring the world of classical instruments as Marsen Jules and creating popesque-exotic-ambient-styles as krill.minima and Wildach Sonnerkraut with his minimal-dub-house project FALTER (a german word for butterfly) he takes a long and gliding flight through panning delays and wide reverbs.

3. Falter is a four piece hailing from Dallas, Texas; with Kenny Poovey on
vocals, Jason Schauer on bass, Mike Corn on Guitar and Andrew Britt on drums
their goal is to make a lasting imprint on music today. Combining heavy guitars, creative bass lines, and tight, dynamic percussion, with catchy vocals and a melodic, softer side, their utilization of dynamics within each song has pushed them ‘against all odds’ (the name of their 2006 album) to be where they are today.
