Last night I saw a movie
I thought about many movies I've seen at your house
Excuse me if I'm rude
But I'd rather that we just strike from the record ones

  • TooFast4Love are absolutely correct and i'm right there with you. their shows these days have gotten out of control. i realized this a.) when i was at their 'where the wilds things are' tour but i also saw a bit of it at their tour with hawthorne heights, from first to last and the all-american rejects. it's reminding me too much of a backstreet boys concert from back in the day. pyrotechnics? laser shows? what's next, dance routines? i miss the little venues when nobody would take their camera out the minute pete got close. the days where you could proudly say "fall out boy is my favorite band..." and nobody would know who you were talking about. i'll always be a fan and i'm proud that i've always BEEN a fan.

actually tuluum, you could never imagine what they were like in their "formative years" because fans like you wouldn't have been caught dead in half the places they played. you think moving pictures is rough, you wouldn't have liked their live show. that's what they sounded like before the hard work got them to be the top 40 band they've become. and it was the best time to be a fan, because it was intimate and every show was played with an intensity, like this could be it. i don't get the same feeling these days, even though I still consider myself a fan. it is comments like yours that make me happy i knew them before they took over the world.
