Falarek Band

A noise/punk project featuring Robert Brylewski. First of a kind to pave the way to postrock in Poland, negligent to what contemporary foreign artists created. Brylewski trusted his blind luck, which boosted his reputation as an
extraordinary avantgarde musician. Alternative rock-infused primal energy, aware of its past days, blends with dubbed modern electronic soundscapes. Therefore the music is trance-driven, abstract, haunted by overwhelming cosmo-onirical aura, still keeping its contestable flavor and conveying the sense of nostalgia facing fin de siecle (translated from by albinusmaximus).

The name of the band comes from nicknames of its two createors - Piotr “Fala” Falkowski (drummer from Houk) and Arek Antonowicz (bass).
It all started in Warsaw, 1991. The band released one self-titled album and a single called “+++” (both in 1996).
