v I feel exactly the same.. it sounds too much like western bands to me, but we can't really blame them for moving on after so many years

Witness is actually growing OFF me. Adam does have way too much vocal time. For years & years Hiro's voice has been an identifying feature of their music, that almost held the band's sound together - even if they were trying something new, as soon as he came in it sounded familiar and right. When Adam sings it stops sounding like FACT, and subconsciously I've found my fav moments of the album to be the ones where he keeps his mouth shut. I think I read somewhere that they now consider themselves to have two vocalists... so my hopes are waning.

Witness is really good, not too big a fan of Adam's vocals though. Think they're just a tad overused. Can see myself growing to really like Ape after a while though haha

Just listened to both sides of the FACT / Nature Living split. I forgot how good this damn split is. Fact + Nature Living is an amazing combo even if they sound different.

Celebrated 5k FACT plays by finally jamming Witness. I like it, it's not so bad. It sounds just like good ol' FACT always have, but doing something different yenno? My only qualms are how much vocal time Adam has, sometimes it's like HE'S the frontman... and the new logo doesn't sit right. Has some really good tracks that are going to become favorites though. Funnily enough I think it loses steam towards the end besides Disclosure, halfam. PS. WTF APE...

So the album has been out for like 14 days. The last 3 or 4 songs are the only songs I like on the album

They can come to the USA to record an album but not tour again. Makes sense.

Nothing in the booklet besides the lyrics. There's another smaller booklet with Japanese translations of the lyrics, plus two slips with one promoting the upcoming FACT tour and the other showcasing other upcoming and new albums on maximum10 label.
