About this album

This CD of entirely unaltered spontaneous solo piano creations is dedicated to my folks for putting up with all that banging, pounding, racket, noise and to my sister who was kind enough and had the prescience to give up piano and let me haul the Damn Thing south in a U-haul paid for by money found in some ripped and ratty old planting pants by my mom.

The title comes from the four most popular words used by my parents to describe my budding talent. Quit that banging! Quit that pounding! Quite that racket! STOP MAKING NOISE! I should have listened!

The first in my series of entirely piano albums. Solo improvisation at it's finest, ten fingers and a hell of a lot of keys. The closest thing to being in my mind every second as it happens. Music to live and grow on.
