Back in 2006, Ferdi Salim started to develop a sleeping disorder in which he was constantly awake from 12AM-4AM. Having nothing better to do during those “zombie hours”, Ferdi decided to mock around again with GarageBand on his Apple Macbook.

Hence, the songs are produced.

The name FL!M is taken from Aphex Twin’s song, “Flim”, one of Ferdi’s favourite songs and inspiration behind this electropop project. To make it more distinctive, the i is changed into !
