Biography

Eyes Like Mirrors are a 4 piece visual/post-rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa. Formed in June 2008, they create a blend of instrumental rock and atmospheric soundscapes with a cinematic approach to live performances.

They recorded a handful of songs not long after forming, which were not officially released, however they did label two songs as a Demo recorded sometime in 2008.

In June 2010, Ben Rausch started contributing visuals to their live performances, controlled by a keytar. He has remained a permanent member ever since.

They released their first EP, “Crusades”, on the 5th of March 2011, playing to a sold out audience at the Bioscope Theatre.

They are currently writing and planning for a full-length album.
