In this cooperative experiment of twisted samples, intermingled lyrics and fridge worthy themes Ecid (Fill in the Breaks), Impulse (Fill in the Breaks) Capaciti(Hecatomb) and Kristoff Krane (Abzorbr and Face Candy) have given birth to a severely rare form of hip hop resulting in the creation of a never expected project to be, tagged with the name, “Saturday Morning Soundtrack”.
Ecid is a kamikaze visionary: an artist with an all or nothing approach to every aspect of his art and life. Ambitious almost to a fault with an “us against them” DIY mentality, Ecid has self-booked, self released, and self-made his own movement. Ecid doesn’t try to sell you on any one way of life, he only sells you on the idea that you can live however you want.

Hailing from the Redlands of Louisiana and Oklahoma, the name, Redland, represents much more than a geographical local. It is a concept representing a new paradigm in music. A movement born out of the soil; from the root. It is both a noun and an adjective. Redland is both a state of mind and a word that describes music that is not just heard but felt in the soul.
