    It's Barbara Dixon on the video at the moment if anyone wants to compare. But yes,the stream is PS. On mudcat someone claims to have EM singing it on an LP but never came back with the details. The feeling there is he might have sung it very occasionally live but never did a recording.

    I think we get a sense of its gaelic roots and the influence on the phrasing and Mr. MacColl's intended delivery.. Simply mesmerizing... I think if there was ever a song that captured the purity and virginity and wholeness of first and complete love this is the song.
