Evanss was one of the most very under-rated bands that merged from the old alternative local scene in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Though they never succeeded as their contemporary local colleagues Zoé did, Evanss never failed in what they always had in mind: playing just for fun, for themselves, actually.

The band was the result of a couple of previous disbands: Linterna Verde and Estática. Before both bands (Linterna Verde y Estática) broke up, Mónica (Mona) and Antonio (Lobo, R.I.P.) started playing together as a side-project, so that's exactly how the stroy began.

Then months and years later, Carlos (Krafo), Christian (Kicha) and Iván (lebital) joined the Lobo and Monica's project, which was initially called (by strategical mistake) Diadema.

The band played several times in local gigs and a few fests in Cuernavaca, Mexico City, Monterrey, Malinalco, Cuautla, etc. The band broke up after Antonio (Lobo) passed out on November, 13th, 2006.
